Server Ranks

There are three admins on this server : Andypandy89, ks07 and ryanclancy000. They are the owners of the server, and have all rights, privileges, and commands. They are the only people with access to the server files and configuration.

They can be identified by their in-game name color, dark red.

Game Master (GM) is one rank down from admin. GMs are in-game admins; they do not have access to the server files and configuration, but have all the same commands in-game. They are trusted with keeping the game running smoothly for all.

They can be identified by their in-game name color, light red or pink.

Moderators are the general staff. They handle protections, rule enforcing, griefing, property disputes, questions, etc etc. They are the backbone of our server. Moderators should be able to deal with the majority of any problems you may have while playing on Ultimate Minecraft.

Becoming a Mod

Players are chosen to be mods through our experiences with them on the server. There’s no simple recipe for getting promoted, but here’s some guidelines that will help you along:

• Stay active in chat.
• Help other players.
• Avoid causing conflicts. We are all different and have different personalities. While some people may take your comment as a joke, others might get deeply offended. No real point in getting in arguments with players that are clearly trolling, either.
• How long you’ve been on the server and how often you are online are definitely important factors. Becoming a mod takes dedication and time, so be patient!
• Don’t ask to be promoted. Obvious hinting is not positive, either. In fact, you are more likely to decrease your chances by asking.

They can be identified by their in-game name color, light or dark blue.

A developer is a player who has created plugins for the server. They are granted this position so that they may be able to test the plugins they’ve created or edited for our server, and to help out with any technical difficulties that may occur with our current plugins.

Developers are part of the staff-team, and are an essential part of our server. Developers are not moderators.

They can be identified by their in-game name color, teal.

Architect is a rank given to players that we believe have built extraordinary structures on the server. These players are awarded with WorldEdit and item spawning, so that they may continue to improve the visual appearance of our server.

Extra commands/features

• All the perks of a VIP (see below)
• WorldEdit – The ability to fill areas, move buildings, etc
• The ability to spawn items

The architect rank is a user-rank, which means they have no moderator-powers and no responsibility administrating-wise. One architect is promoted at the beginning of each month, the lucky player being chosen through a vote open to current architects, GMs and Admins.

They can be identified by their in-game name colour, green.

VIP is a rank given to players who have donated at least $4.99 to our server.

Benefits include:

• /mc – Walk on a sheet of glass
• /ml – Get a layer of glowstone on the edge of your carpet
• /tp (player)
• /tp here (player)
• /kit irontools
• coloured signs – Have coloured text on signs (see spawn for example)
• Reserved server slot

They can be identified by their in-game name color, gold.

Members are the standard players on our server. To become a member, players must apply to our server. Applying is completely free and optional. After applying, players must pass a simple test. The test consists of material that all members on our server need to know. After passing, players become members and do not need to ever apply for membership again.

Becoming a member opens up the ability to build in the main world, and to protect your structures.

They can be identified by their in-game name color, white.

Guests are players who are new to our server. It’s the default rank that all players on our server start at. Guests are restricted to building in the guest world, an area designated just for them, but do not get any perks of membership. This means a guest’s structures are vulnerable to griefing. The guest rank allows new players to visit our server and play for a while before they have to go through any form of application process.

They can be identified by their in-game name color, grey.

Outcast is awarded to players who pester the staff about getting “op” or becoming a mod. Outcast has no commands at all. They cannot use /home, /spawn, etc. They cannot build in either the member world or the guest world. This rank is usually used as a warning or an alternative to banning, and is rarely permanent.

They can be identified by their in-game name color, dark gray.
