How to Vote on MCSL

Voting helps the server out a bit and if you have not noticed we are getting lots of new members. Sadly though there has been lots of questions on how to vote. To vote is quite simple, you simply go to the MCSL website and follow the steps below.

Voting gets you a non-hostile mob spawning egg that can be used at any time while in game. You must be online and connected to the Ultimate Minecraft server to receive an egg and you can only vote once a day. If you have other people in your household who use the same network they may not be able to vote due to anti-cheat detection on the site. If they want to vote, they may need to use an alternative host.

Guide to Forum Greatness

The forums are the best way to get involved in discussion centered around the server, as well as to talk to people from other timezones who you wouldn’t normally see in game or on IRC. Use of the forum is definitely picking up, and a lot more people are participating, but there’s a wealth of less obvious features that you may not have noticed while browsing the boards. Read on for a tutorial documenting the less obvious things that you might be missing out on…

See ranks next to player names if you like

Over the last few days I’ve noticed quite few colorblind players on the server and wanted to make UMC experience more friendly for them by making a way for them to see the ranks in text, not just colors, and also have the channels appear differently so they don’t talk in the wrong channel by accident.

Welcome To The New Website!

Welcome to Ultimate Minecraft’s new website. With this change we hope to make the website more up to date with things that happen in game, which people often miss if they are not regulars in IRC or on the forums. Over time, we hope to fill the new website with as much information as possible to help you get the most out of our server.

As you can see the site is now fully integrated with the forums, this means that you’ll not have to create a new account if you have already signed up with the forums.

Enjoy!
