Weekly News Salad #5
Yet another week has passed, hence it’s time for another bite-size round-up of this weeks events.
First up is a reminder to all that the nether is scheduled to be reset next Sunday. This will mean all buildings, chests and materials left in the nether will be permanently deleted after this time, so make sure you clear out anything you would like to keep hold of before that time!
Secondly is the re-introduction of vote incentives. Starting later today, vote for our server on MCSL while logged into the game to receive a random mob spawning egg! You can vote once every 24 hours, and each time you do you will receive another egg. Note that the list of eggs you could receive does not contain all eggs – hostile monsters will not be given out by this vote, for example. We won’t list them all here, so as an exercise for the reader, it’s up to you to figure out the list. Also note that, unfortunately, you must register and login on the MCSL website to vote.
VIPs struggling with the new flight system when trying to build may also want to try out the often forgotten command ‘/tp up’, as pointed out by our very own firecopy. This command will place a single block of glass beneath you, which you can then stand on while you mine or use as a starting point for your creations.
Finally, a teaser:
That’s all for now, folks!
