Whoa, 1.4 is out?
Hey guys,
As most of you know by now, the 1.4 “Pretty Scary Update” was released on the 25th, here is how things will work.
- We will update the server once Bukkit and our plugins have dated. At the time of this post, Bukkit has not yet even released a dev build for 1.4 so we will be waiting for a bit – can’t update to something that doesn’t exist.
- We won’t be having a temp server for 1.4. In the past they have been chaos and nearly impossible to moderate (grief complaints unable to be handled, etc).

Thanks for clearin things up. I myself like the update, the bats are a nice addition, even after Halloween has been and gone, teu will add a nice atmosphere to man-made builds like caves and underground structures. The pig riding ability is brilliant. I see many races and a loo of time spent riding around spawn waiting for modrequests. As an architect, the additional decorative items are also welcomed
I’m interested to see how the 1.4 update will fare on the server! Hopefully we don’t have a bunch of Wither’s being spawned o_O
Bukkit has released a craftbukkit 1.4.2 a few days ago…
Is there any estimate of when they will upgrade the server to version 1.4+?
